Ankr Partners with Microsoft to Provide Blockchain Node Services

Tech giant Microsoft has selected Ankr as a partner to build blockchain node services for enterprise clients.

Microsoft and blockchain infrastructure provider Ankr have established a partnership, under which Ankr will offer blockchain node solutions to enterprise customers through Microsoft's technology.

These blockchain node services will be built on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, allowing customization of storage and bandwidth to meet specific needs. Companies and projects interested in utilizing these services will be able to easily deploy smart contracts, manage transaction data, and read/write blockchain data.

Rashmi Misra, Head of AI and Emerging Technology at Microsoft, commented:

“Our partnership with Ankr will enable developers and businesses to access blockchain in a secure and reliable manner, exploring how Web3 can address real-world problems. Together, we are building a robust Web3 infrastructure layer.”

Ankr provides RPC services, connecting users and crypto projects to 19 blockchains, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Solana, and Avalanche.

Through RPC node networks like Ankr's, crypto applications connect to blockchains and access stored data. This is crucial for the crypto sector, though the space is currently dominated by a few RPC providers, including Infura, QuickNode, Alchemy, and Ankr.

Following the partnership news, Ankr's ANKR token has surged over 50%.
