Aptos (APT) Launches Delegated Staking Feature
With the new feature, users can earn staking rewards without needing to act as validators on Aptos.

Aptos (APT) Introduces Delegated Staking Feature
On April 21, Aptos, a layer-1 blockchain, announced the launch of its Delegated Staking feature, aimed at making staking participation more accessible on its network.
Moreover, Delegated Staking reduces the minimum amount of APT required for staking. Users can now stake directly on Aptos Explorer or through partner platforms like Pontem Network and Nodes Guru with just 11 APT (approximately $112).

This new feature not only allows users to earn rewards from locking tokens into the network but also significantly cuts costs. The community no longer needs to install specialized hardware or pay for running transaction validation nodes.
Aptos is no stranger to the crypto community, having emerged as a prominent layer-1 solution recently. The project launched its mainnet in October 2022 and made waves with a high-profile airdrop campaign. Aptos was co-founded by Shaikh and Avery Ching, both of whom previously worked on Meta’s Diem project. To date, Aptos has successfully raised $350 million through multiple funding rounds.
Although the recent token unlock of 4.5 million APT was completed last week, APT’s price has yet to show a significant reaction.
