Ava Labs Develops Vryx Scaling Solution to Propel Avalanche to 100,000 TPS

Ava Labs has just announced the development of a scalable solution named Vryx, designed to significantly enhance the transaction processing speed of the Avalanche blockchain to up to 100,000 transactions per second (TPS).

Ava Labs develops Vryx scaling solution to help Avalanche achieve 100,000 TPS
In their latest research paper, Ava Labs outlines the detailed concept of the Vryx scaling solution, aimed at boosting the transaction throughput of the Avalanche blockchain to 100,000 TPS.
Expected by mid-Q2 2024, Vryx will undergo testing on the HyperSDK testnet.
HyperSDK is a toolkit for developing high-performance blockchains, compatible with virtual machines and supporting smart contracts. The Vryx scaling solution will be used to support blockchains built using HyperSDK, also known as hyperchains.
HyperSDK’s mission is to enable best in class throughput and latency for developers building blockchains in the Avalanche network. Many have asked how HyperSDK aims to achieve this.

Upon successful testing, Vryx will proceed to be implemented on the Avalanche mainnet.
A spokesperson from Ava Labs stated:
"Since establishing HyperSDK over a year and a half ago, Ava Labs has been driven by the mission to provide the best scalability capabilities for any project looking to build their own blockchain on Avalanche. Today, we take a major step towards that goal with the launch of Vryx.
Many have reached out to inquire how Avalanche HyperSDK achieves such high throughput goals right out of the gate. Vryx is our answer."
The core idea behind Vryx involves breaking down transaction processes and running them in a "pipeline" manner. This means that one transaction block may still be validating while the network begins producing the next block.
This transaction processing approach is not entirely new and has been utilized in other blockchain platforms such as Aptos and Sui.
The Ava Labs team appears confident in their brainchild, referring to Vryx as the "best-performing solution in its class."
AVAX is currently trading around $32.8 USD, marking a slight increase of over 6% in the past 24 hours.
