In a statement on the X platform, Portuguese football icon Cristiano Ronaldo revealed the upcoming release of his fourth NFT collection, in collaboration with the world's leading cryptocurrency exchange, Binance.

Previously, in 2022, Cristiano Ronaldo partnered with Binance to release his first NFT collection, offering exclusive experiences to NFT holders with the legendary striker.

This fourth NFT collection will be available for purchase on the Binance NFT Marketplace at 03:00 PM (Vietnam time) on May 29.

The NFTs will represent memorable moments in Ronaldo's illustrious career, celebrating his significant achievements. Cristiano Ronaldo stated:

"Football has taken me around the world, and I have had the honor of playing for some of the most prestigious clubs. Now, it's your turn to join me on that journey."

The collection's total number of NFTs will remain undisclosed until the release date, and specific pricing details for each NFT have not yet been officially announced. According to Binance's blog, all "regular NFTs" will have a uniform price, while "super rare NFTs" will be priced differently.

Holders of Cristiano Ronaldo's NFTs will enjoy special benefits outside the crypto world, including opportunities to play football with the Al-Nassr striker, as part of Binance's promotional campaign.

The promotional image of Ronaldo for this fourth NFT collection has drawn comparisons to "CZ," Binance's former CEO Changpeng Zhao, with the iconic four-finger gesture symbolizing both Ronaldo and Binance's connections. This gesture comes in the context of former Binance CEO CZ being sentenced to four months in prison, and Binance having previously been fined $4.3 billion by US authorities.

As Coin68 reported in November 2023, Cristiano Ronaldo was sued for promoting Binance. The plaintiff claimed that Ronaldo "promoted, supported, and participated in the offering and sale of unregistered securities by Binance," and that he should have been aware of Binance's involvement in such activities.

Despite the lawsuit, Ronaldo continued to participate in Binance's promotional campaigns. On March 20, Binance released a video on the X platform featuring Ronaldo playing table football with female football star Ana Marković.
