Delegate Partners with LayerZero to Launch Multichain Web3 Domain Solution

Delegate has recently partnered with LayerZero to launch a blockchain domain solution called Clusters.

Web3 domain solutions, such as ENS, are well-known to users, typically storing data exclusively on the Ethereum blockchain and using it as the sole verification pointer. However, Delegate's new solution, Clusters, aims to extend domain registration data across multiple blockchains, including Ethereum, Solana, and even legacy networks like Bitcoin.

"Clusters is a cross-chain solution that supports various wallet standards to minimize address fragmentation and domain squatting. This is considered a standardized identification layer, allowing users to own synchronized domains across multiple chains," shared LayerZero in their announcement of the new partnership.
LayerZero will provide the foundational technology to support Clusters. This protocol facilitates data transmission between blockchains. Changes in data and state between chains will be continuously cross-verified, ensuring the accuracy of millions of domains and wallet addresses.
Delegate, previously known as Delegate Cash, specializes in building products for managing blockchain addresses. This protocol allows users to delegate authority from their cryptocurrency wallet to another wallet address.
A common example is a wallet holding valuable NFTs delegating authority to an empty wallet. This empty wallet can then be used to sign and verify transactions as if it holds the NFTs. If the empty wallet is compromised or attacked, the high-value NFTs remain protected in the original wallet, preventing unnecessary losses when using the blockchain.
According to the project's website, Delegate currently supports $993 million worth of assets across 182,500 wallet addresses. The service has partnerships with major NFT entities such as Yuga Labs, Azuki, and the OpenSea exchange.
In conjunction with the launch, Clusters announced it successfully raised $9 million from various investment funds.
