EigenDA Announces Support for OP Stack Toolkit

EigenDA, the Data Availability branch of EigenLayer, has announced its integration with the OP Stack toolkit.
EigenDA is proud to announce support for @Optimism's OP Stack, available now against the debut EigenDA testnet! Rollups will have the option of persisting L2 transaction data to EigenDA, enjoying negligible L1 gas costs while maintaining a security budget on par with Ethereum. pic.twitter.com/7xzmxs71sj

EigenDA Announces Support for OP Stack Toolkit
EigenDA shared the announcement on their official X (formerly Twitter) account, highlighting their support for the OP Stack in Data Availability.
Integration Details
The current support is available on EigenDA's testnet. This integration will allow projects using the OP Stack toolkit to minimize Data Availability costs while ensuring secure verification.
Previously, the OP Stack also integrated DA services from Celestia. By leveraging multiple DA solutions, the OP Stack can adopt a more flexible approach to ensuring "data availability," crucial for transaction validation.

Key Updates from OP Stack
Another notable update from the OP Stack is the testing of Fraud Proofs on the Goerli testnet. EigenDA acknowledged in their post that the lack of Fraud Proof support from OP Stack is a significant gap. As such, EigenDA will monitor and make necessary adjustments when OP Stack officially deploys Fraud Proofs on the mainnet.
