Former U.S. President Donald Trump has expanded his NFT collection with a limited edition "Mugshot Edition," offering buyers the chance to own a piece of a suit he wore during a Georgia arrest.

Available on Donald Trump's collection website, the Mugshot Edition NFTs are priced at $99 each. Those holding 47 NFTs (equivalent to $4,600) not only gain entry to a dinner with Trump at Mar-a-Lago, but also receive a card containing a "fragment" of the suit he wore during his August arrest.

Buyers of over 100 NFTs receive a more prestigious card featuring a piece of Trump's tie. Additionally, the Mugshot Edition includes 25 cards personally signed by the former President. Promotional material on the website hails the suit as "the most historically significant artifact in U.S. history."

Following the announcement of the Mugshot Edition, the price of Trump's initial NFT collection surged over 200% within 24 hours on OpenSea, although total sales have yet to reach $100,000.

Despite facing criminal charges, Trump remains ambitious in the Web3 space, launching his second NFT collection following the success of his first. By June, sales of these digital artworks reportedly reached $8.9 million, with Trump's Ethereum wallet receiving $5 million in copyright fees from NFT releases through partner issuers.

Trump previously stated his NFT involvement stems from a passion for art rather than financial gain.

The sales operation is managed by NFT INT LLC, a company not owned, managed, or controlled by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization, CIC Digital LLC, or any affiliated branch. The website notes:

"NFT INT LLC uses the name, likeness, and image of Donald J. Trump under license from CIC Digital LLC. This license may be terminated or revoked under its terms."
