Gifto Unveils New Brand – GFT Token Re-Listed

From GTO to GFT

Gifto, initially launched in 2017 by Asia Innovation Group (AIG) and CEO Andy Tian, was previously known for its GTO token. However, the project has recently announced a rebranding with the introduction of the new GFT token.

The decentralized gifting platform has gained momentum following a $2.5 million investment from Poolz Ventures earlier this year. As part of this partnership, Gifto plans to use the funds to enhance its product offerings with marketing support from Poolz.

To fully realize its new product suite, Gifto has decided to launch the GFT token on the BNB Chain, replacing the old GTO token on Ethereum. The transition includes a complete swap from GTO to GFT.

According to the announcement, GFT will be used for Gifto’s staking and charity programs. Specifically, Gifto will allocate about 0.5% of its annual token inflation to donations through Binance Charity.

Exchanges Re-List Gifto's Token

In response to this development, several major exchanges including Binance, OKX, Gate.io, and Bitget have swapped all GTO tokens for GFT at a 1:1 ratio. Starting today, Binance will no longer support GTO, but will continue to support GFT deposits and withdrawals. Similarly, MXC has followed suit by listing the GFT/USD trading pair from February 8.

Following these announcements, GFT surged to $0.143 within the past 24 hours, marking a 370% increase over the past week.
