At the beginning of this week on April 15, Hong Kong officially gave the green light to four applications for Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs.

Early afternoon on April 15, 2024, Wu Blockchain quoted announcements from relevant parties stating that Hong Kong authorities had preliminarily approved applications for Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs.
Announcements from official WeChat accounts of China Asset Management, Bosera Capital, HashKey Capital, and Harvest Global Investments confirmed their ETFs had been approved.

As of now, preliminary calculations indicate that four entities have received approval. This information aligns with last week's speculation suggesting Hong Kong might approve Bitcoin spot ETFs the following week.
Thanks to this positive news, Bitcoin and Ethereum prices are showing strong recovery after plummeting uncontrollably over the weekend.
BTC is currently trading around $66,300, a slight increase following a flash crash to as low as $60,600 on April 14.
