After much anticipation, Immutable officially launched its incentive program named "The Main Quest" on the evening of April 25, offering a reward pool of up to $50 million.

The layer-2 blockchain platform for gaming announced this as the largest Web3 user appreciation program to date, boasting over 270 games under its roof.

The initial phase of The Main Quest includes titles like Illuvium, MetalCore, Pixelmon, Guild of Guardians, Space Nation, Blast Royale, Pool Masters, Hunters On-Chain, and Treeverse.

The announcement stated:

"Starting today, players can earn immediate rewards by completing missions, playing games, and owning collections on Immutable."

To participate, users first need to create an Immutable Passport and interact with the Immutable zkEVM chain. Through various challenges and tasks, users will accumulate gems, which will serve as criteria for future rewards (NFTs or tokens).

IMX prices did not react positively to the news but are currently recovering in sync with the overall market.

Immutable zkEVM and Immutable X are two layer-2 solutions owned by Web3 infrastructure company Immutable. While Immutable zkEVM supports smart contracts providing EVM ZK-rollup for Polygon-based games, Immutable X, developed by Starkware, operates without smart contracts.

Immutable X was launched in April 2021, whereas Immutable zkEVM activated its mainnet in early access mode earlier this year. The project is headquartered in Sydney and backed by prominent names such as Tencent, Coinbase, Bitkraft Ventures, and Galaxy Interactive.
