Largest Ethereum Mining Pool Ethermine Stops Supporting ETH Mining Post-Merge
Ethermine, the leading Ethereum mining pool globally (accounting for over 27% of Ethereum’s total hashrate), has announced it will cease support for ETH mining following The Merge upgrade.

Largest Mining Pool Halts ETH Mining Support Post-Merge
Ethermine has declared that it will no longer support ETH mining under the Proof-of-Work (PoW) mechanism after Ethereum’s transition to Proof-of-Stake (PoS) with the completion of The Merge. The pool also stated it will not support any ETH PoW forks, effectively shutting down its ETH mining servers entirely.
Instead, users can continue mining with ASICs and GPUs for other cryptocurrencies supported by Ethermine, including Ethereum Classic (ETC), Ravencoin (RVN), Ergo (ERGO), and Beam (BEAM).
After seven years of intensive research & development the mining phase of Ethereum will come to an end in around 20 hours. (5 AM UTC)
