According to an announcement published late on December 27th, software company MicroStrategy disclosed its acquisition of an additional 14,620 Bitcoin (BTC), valued at $615.7 million, at an average purchase price of $42,110.
The company accumulated this amount of BTC between November 30th and December 26th, immediately following its $593 million Bitcoin purchase on November 30th.

As of now, MicroStrategy holds a total of 189,150 BTC, acquired at an average price of $31,168 per BTC, totaling $5.9 billion in investment.
With Bitcoin priced at $42,800 at the time of writing, the company's BTC investment amounts to $8.9 billion, resulting in nearly 51% profit.

This marks MicroStrategy's eighth Bitcoin purchase in 2023, following investments in March ($150 million), April ($29.3 million), June ($347 million), July ($14.4 million), September ($147 million), early November ($5.3 million), and late November ($593 million).
This demonstrates the firm's and founder Michael Saylor's steadfast commitment to investing in the world's largest cryptocurrency, despite experiencing up to a 45% drawdown in 2022.
