Avail, a project spun off from Polygon in early 2023, has developed a modular blockchain model similar to Celestia (TIA).

Modular Blockchain Solution Avail Deploys Testnet

On the evening of November 7, the modular blockchain project Avail announced the launch of its testnet, featuring rewards for validators and early adopters providing feedback on Avail's solution.

Learn More: Testnet

Avail is a blockchain developed with a modular approach, meaning it develops layers to execute blockchain tasks such as consensus, security, and data availability, instead of handling everything on a single main layer.

Avail's operational model closely resembles Celestia, a new modular blockchain project that launched the TIA token in October 2023.

With the testnet deployment announcement, Avail is inviting validators and node operators to join the network, complete tasks, and in return receive rewards and other benefits when the project's mainnet launches, expected "in the coming months."

Originally part of Polygon, Avail separated in March 2023 after co-founder Anurag Arjun departed.
