Arbitrum Announces Airdrop for DAO Projects in Its Ecosystem
On Twitter, Arbitrum stated that distributing governance tokens to a broader range of entities is crucial. Consequently, the Layer-2 ecosystem has decided to allocate a portion of its airdrop to DAO organizations that meet certain criteria.
The total amount of tokens allocated will be approximately 113 million ARB, representing 1.13% of the total supply.
"DAO projects on Arbitrum with a Treasury fund will be eligible for this airdrop. The one exception to this rule is Protocol Guild, a collective of core developers and contributors working on Ethereum."
Only projects on Arbitrum with a DAO & a community treasury were eligible to participate in this distribution.
