What happened: Bitwise's Q3 2026 report shows a record 43.8 million ETH staked, representing nearly 36% of total supply. Net inflows reached 1.99 million ETH for the quarter, marking the sixth consecutive positive quarter. However, gross staking yields fell to 2.63% from 2.81% in Q2, and the number of active validators dropped to 881,000 due to operator consolidation after the Pectra upgrade. On Solana, 440.5 million SOL (69% of supply) is staked, with network activity and fee revenue both up sharply quarter-over-quarter.
