TradFi Accelerates Bitcoin Allocation Before Year-End, Wall Street Veteran Jordi Visser Predicts

Wall Street veteran and macro strategist Jordi Visser predicts that U.S. traditional finance (TradFi) institutions will increase their Bitcoin allocations as early as Q4 this year, positioning for 2025. In a conversation with Anthony Pompliano aired on YouTube last weekend, Visser stated: "Between now and the end of the year, Bitcoin allocation targets for next year within TradFi portfolios will be raised.

I'm confident that number is going higher, and it's going to happen."

Institutional Wave Poised to Pour Capital into Bitcoin

Visser's forecast comes just months after Coinbase and EY-Parthenon published a survey showing that 83% of institutional investors plan to expand their crypto allocations in 2025. A report from Bitwise even estimates that Bitcoin inflows could reach $120 billion in 2025 and $300 billion in 2026.

Meanwhile, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs continue to demonstrate their pull, recording $2.33 billion in net inflows over just the past five trading days, bringing the cumulative total since their January 2024 launch to $56.7 billion, according to Farside data.

Corporates and Price Trends

The number of publicly listed companies holding Bitcoin is also growing rapidly, with total holdings valued at approximately $117 billion, according to BitcoinTreasuries.NET.

On price action, Visser struck a cautious but optimistic tone: "I like the way the charts are setting up. We're seeing a lot of mini breakouts across the market. Ethereum has pushed past $4,000, consolidating in the $4,000–$5,000 range. Once it breaks its prior high, the entire ecosystem — from Dogecoin to Sui — needs to move up together."

Market Outlook

With Bitcoin holding above $116,000, global markets are closely watching institutional capital allocation moves heading into Q4. If Visser's scenario plays out, the TradFi wave into Bitcoin could become the key catalyst for crypto's next leg up.
