Profiles not already verified will be notified to complete verification by 7am Aug 21 (UTC).
For accounts that have not yet completed KYC, OKX will send individual reminders. Failure to complete KYC by the deadline will result in restricted access to OKX services.
The exchange stated that the KYC requirement aligns with global legal compliance policies, which are currently intricate and sensitive.
Prior to OKX, other leading exchanges such as Binance, Bybit, and KuCoin have similarly mandated that users undergo identity verification, at least at level 1, to access their full range of services.
