The program will select top candidates to receive funding in stages, ranging from $10,000 to $100,000, with additional rewards in SUI tokens.
The grant prioritizes open-source projects that benefit the Sui community. Applicants will need to complete identity verification and screening processes if chosen to receive the grant.
Sui has been making headlines recently. Founded by a team with a legacy in Meta’s (formerly Facebook) Diem blockchain, Sui, alongside its “sibling” project Aptos, is creating significant buzz in the market.
While Aptos has sparked a wave of airdrops and retroactive rewards following its mainnet launch, Sui has shocked the community with its announcement of “no plans to reward early users” on the platform and its approach of splitting SUI into smaller denominations.
