TomoChain has announced a rebranding to Viction, with its token TOMO now renamed to VIC alongside several new updates.

On the afternoon of November 1, 2023, leading Vietnamese Web3 project Coin98 hosted a press conference to announce several significant updates within its ecosystem, emphasizing future visions.

One of the most notable updates is the rebranding of the TomoChain brand to Viction. The TOMO token is also rebranded as VIC.

It is important to note that this rebranding is purely for refreshing the brand identity; there are no technical changes related to smart contracts, tokenomics, or total supply.

This move aims to strengthen Coin98's commitment to integrating all component projects under a unified umbrella, serving a common vision of Viction.

The TOMO token price reacted positively to this news, surging from $1.78 to a high of $1.88.

According to the project's explanation, Viction inherits a legacy built over 5 years in the blockchain market, reinforcing its move towards a future focused on real-world utility and human values.

Viction is shorthand for Conviction, symbolizing trust and belief, with 'V' representing Vietnam.

Additionally, Co-founder of Coin98, Le Thanh, also announced a series of new products within the ecosystem:

• Zen Card: Coin98 Wallet in the form of a physical card, providing users with a more tangible experience.
• One ID: A fully decentralized digital identity solution, supporting all assets across all chains.
