Keywords like "$Bitcoin," "BTC price," and "Bitcoin price" will also trigger price charts, mirroring the search functionality for ETH.
After the new feature was spotted by the online community, Twitter CEO Elon Musk confirmed its launch and stated that it is part of Twitter's push into the financial niche.

However, it appears that BTC and ETH are the only cryptocurrencies currently supported by this feature on Twitter. Other major cryptocurrencies, including Musk's favorite DOGE, are not yet supported. Bitcoin and Ethereum are also the only cryptocurrencies for which Twitter allows users to add wallet addresses to their profiles.
Twitter Business has announced that it plans to expand this feature to include more types of metrics in the coming weeks.
Additionally, the charts are sourced from the trading analytics platform TradingView. The price charts include a "View on Robinhood" link, which directs users to Robinhood's price charts along with a "Sign Up to Buy" link.
This suggests that Twitter might have partnered with Robinhood to integrate this feature, although no details about the collaboration between Twitter and Robinhood have been disclosed.
According to data from BitInfoCharts, integrating price charts on Twitter could drive significant traffic to Robinhood, as the #Bitcoin tag alone is tweeted around 120,000 times daily, not including similar tags. Meanwhile, #Ethereum is tweeted about 25,000 times each day.
Earlier this month, there were rumors that Twitter might launch its own cryptocurrency. These rumors stem from Musk's vague vision of “Twitter 2.0,” which includes integrating cryptocurrency payment capabilities.

However, Musk's future at Twitter seems uncertain following his poll asking his 122.5 million Twitter followers if he should step down as CEO. The poll concluded on the evening of December 19, with over 17.5 million votes cast, 57.5% of which favored his resignation. DOGE's price immediately dropped by 10% following this news.
As of the morning of December 21, Elon Musk stated he is willing to step down in accordance with the poll results, but only once a suitable replacement is found. After stepping down, he plans to focus on the software/server department of the platform.
Should I step down as head of Twitter? I will abide by the results of this poll.
