The Starknet Foundation will earmark 50 million STRK tokens for early ecosystem contributors under the Early Community Member Program (ECMP). This program rewards individuals who have actively contributed to the network, organized Starknet-related events, and created content to promote Starknet. It's clarified that ECMP is not an airdrop program.

1/ Today, we’re excited to announce the introduction of the ECMP, a program dedicated to recognizing the various pillars of our community that have contributed to Starknet to date.https://t.co/1otPM9oymS
To receive the airdrop, individuals and projects need to submit grant applications outlining their contributions. The program is not available to citizens and users in the United States.
In their announcement, the Starknet Foundation stated:
"We aim to use this opportunity to recognize and reward individuals who have significantly contributed to the Starknet ecosystem in various ways."
StarkWare, the developer behind Starknet, launched STRK in July 2022 with a total supply of 10 billion tokens and initially scheduled the first token unlock for November 29, 2023. However, as of early October, the project has adjusted the contract unlock to April 2024, delaying the schedule by up to 5 months. Most of these tokens are allocated to the Starknet Foundation, 32.9% to core contributors, and 17% to investors.
Starknet is a prominent layer-2 solution currently, but the project has not taken any action related to community airdrops.
